The AS3 air spring lets you adjust support and progression through two positive air chambers, while hydraulic bottom-out control manages the end of the stroke. Choose the standard ARIA V2 for trail, enduro and e-bikes, or the dedicated DH version for downhill and freeride.

AS3: EXT’S PATENTED AIR SPRING TECHNOLOGY

The ARIA V2 uses EXT’s patented AS3 system, combining two independently adjustable positive air chambers, separated by just two seals, with a large, self-equalising negative chamber.

Adjusting the + and ++ chambers lets you fine-tune how much support the shock provides and where that support builds through the travel. The large negative chamber keeps the initial stroke sensitive and comfortable.

Positive (+) chamber: Sets the dynamic sag position and controls how the shock -responds through roughly the first 60% of travel.

Positive (++) chamber: Fine-tunes how support builds through the travel. Higher pressure adds mid- and end-stroke support, while lower pressure gives a more linear feel.

No tokens needed: Adjust progression through the ++ air chamber without plastic volume spacers. Fine-tune mid-stroke support and bottom-out resistance without an abrupt ramp-up at the end of travel.

WHAT’S NEW IN THE ARIA V2 AIR SPRING

Redesigned air transfer: A revised bypass between the positive and negative chambers smooths the transition through the stroke, removing unwanted mid-stroke feedback.

Optimised airflow: Revised airflow along the positive chamber’s inner tube keeps the air spring response predictable, even during rapid compressions and high-speed impacts.

REFINED CHASSIS & HYDRAULIC CONTROL

Reduced friction: Updated seal profiles and materials reduce friction for improved sensitivity and consistent performance. The upper bushing now sits internally, in direct contact with the damping oil, for smoother movement throughout the travel.

More compact layout: A new vertical piggyback orientation and smaller valve block improve frame clearance and open up more fitting options.

Hydraulic Bottom-Out Control (HBC): A secondary piston adds hydraulic support through the final 15% of the stroke, controlling bottom-out without changing the air spring’s behaviour.

ARIA V2 DH: BUILT FOR DOWNHILL & FREERIDE

The ARIA V2 DH brings EXT’s air shock platform to downhill and freeride, with a dedicated configuration for longer shock strokes and gravity riding.

Dedicated tune: Tuned specifically for the demands of downhill and freeride, with settings tailored to longer shock strokes.

More frame clearance: Removing the LOK 2.0 climb lever creates more room for fitting the shock to DH frames.

DH-specific bottom-out control: A redesigned Hydraulic Bottom-Out Control system delivers 20% more force at the end of the stroke to help manage heavy impacts and big landings.

RIDEMASTER: GET YOUR SETUP DIALED

The ARIA V2 integrates with RideMaster, EXT’s web-based suspension setup platform, to give you a starting point tailored to your bike and riding.

Enter your bike and rider weight, suspension travel, shock stroke, terrain and riding level to receive recommended air pressures, sag, damping and HBC settings in minutes.

EXT is developing further RideMaster applications to support the wider product range.

EXT FIVE PLUS: UP TO 5 YEARS OF WARRANTY COVER

The ARIA V2 and ARIA V2 DH are eligible for EXT’s FIVE PLUS warranty extension programme, adding three years of cover to the standard two-year warranty.

Five years of total cover, subject to the programme’s terms and conditions.
